Welcome to the foremost assembly of the World Organization of the Scout Movement! The 43rd World Scout Conference brought together delegates from Member Organizations in 176 countries to Cairo, Egypt. As the first in-person Conference since 2017, the event provided a unique opportunity for Scouts to reconnect, collaborate, exchange ideas, and strengthen unity.
The Conference concluded in Egypt’s capital, Cairo, on 23 August 2024 after seven days packed with meaningful decision-making which will set the direction of the Scout Movement for years to come. National Scout Organization leadership came together to agree on crucial strategic directions, including the adoption of key resolutions, an amendment to the WOSM Constitution, and the unanimous approval of a new vision and Strategy for Scouting.
