About the events

Shaping the future of the World Scout Movement

In August 2021, the 42nd World Scout Conference and 14th World Scout Youth Forum will bring together delegations from 172 National Scout Organizations and global partners to shape the future of the world’s leading educational youth movement.

The World Scout Conference and Youth Forum will be the largest ever convened in the event’s 100-year history, and will provide a platform for up to 3,500 participants to play an active role in shaping the standards, policies and shared goals of the Scout Movement worldwide.

The theme “Bridging the World” challenges young people and participants to build bridges in their communities and across borders between National Scout Organizations, emphasising the need to work together to put our planet on a path towards peace and sustainability.

Connect around the world

Experience the Events Virtually

The virtual World Scout Youth Forum and Conference events will offer a positive and engaging experience for all participants. A virtual conferencing platform will connect delegates together and allow participants to be directly involved in discussions and decision-making opportunities from anywhere in the world.

Access workshops, plenaries, social events, pre-engagement sessions and on-demand content through a connected experience while networking with Scouts and global partners from around the world to gain new insights and inspiration. Technical support will be provided to delegations before and during the events to ensure participants have equal access.
