The World Scout Conference is the governing body of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. The Conference which takes place every three years provides an opportunity for Member Organizations to consider the policy and standards of the Scout Movement, formulate the general policy of the World Organization, and take the action required to advance the purpose of the Movement.
The 42nd World Scout Conference will take place 24-28 August 2020 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. Each National Scout Organization can send a maximum of six delegates and a number of observers to participate in the event.
The World Scout Conference takes place in conjunction with the World Scout Youth Forum taking place 17-21 August 2020 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt where youth members of World Scouting will discuss different issues and participate as delegates of the World Scout Conference.
