Join us for a virtual experience unlike any other World Scout event! This year we have reimagined the Conference and Youth Forum agenda in the virtual context to provide more opportunities for participants to get engaged in shaping the future of Scouting.

Experience the virtual event programme

The Conference and Youth Forum programme is designed to offer participants the opportunity to get involved through pre-event programme content, come together as a Movement during plenary sessions, and join educational workshops, social activities, and virtual exhibitions through a variety of live and on-demand programming. Prepare to be engaged, experience the unity of the Scout Movement, take part in key decisions for World Scouting, and connect with fellow Scouts from around the world.

Plenary sessions

Dedicated space in plenary during a 4-hour block starting at 12:00 GMT to bring all participants together and carry out key functions of the event, including voting on proposals.

Breakout sessions

Sessions allowing participants in smaller groups to discuss and debate topics related to decision-making during the event.

Educational and capacity-strengthening workshops for smaller groups of participants to engage and learn about a variety of topics.

Exhibition areas

Virtual exhibition space offering interaction with World Scouting, National Scout Organizations and partners to learn more about specific Scouting topics, events, projects, services and initiatives.

Social activities

Networking space and social activities focused on fun and unifying the Scout Movement.

Youth Forum programme

The Youth Forum programme provides an opportunity for young people of different backgrounds to explore key issues together such as innovation, global citizenship and leadership, and to develop the skills necessary to take part in decision-making processes. Elections also take place to select the next triennium’s Youth Advisors to the World Scout Committee. A more detailed Youth Forum agenda will be posted online as the content and schedule gets confirmed.

Conference Programme

The Conference programme showcases the work achieved during the current triennium, and focuses on making key decisions about the future of Scouting. Decisions are taken on Conference proposals, selecting Hosts for future World Scout Events and electing the next World Scout Committee. Throughout the event, delegations will have the opportunity to share best practices with other National Scout Organizations, learn about collaboration opportunities with partners, and be inspired by impact stories of Scouts from around the world. A more detailed Conference agenda will be posted online as the content and schedule gets confirmed.
