I am a living testimony and witness to all that Scouting does for young people, transforming individuals and communities. Scouting’s mission and vision coupled with the values set by the founder is more than enough motivation and honour for me to stand as a candidate to the World Scout Committee. My journey in Scouting has shown me that Scouting can equip the youth with the knowledge, know-how, and experience to tackle this ever-versatile world. Having worked in the education of the youth in both formal and non-formal settings in my 25-year career, I believe serving on the World Scout Committee will allow me to utilise my education, qualifications, and experience to share and contribute towards Scouting’s vision and mission. I believe that it is my duty as a Scout to stand by the Scout Movement and contribute to creating a better world. I firmly believe that my strong commitment to the grassroots of our Movement with my experience and exposure within our global organisation will help me give more of my time to support the World Scout Movement to reach more young people in expanding our leading movement.
