Constitutional Amendments

Constitutional Amendments are changes to WOSM’s Constitution that are proposed to the World Scout Conference for adoption.

Important deadlines

  • 25 February 2021 – Deadline for Constitutional Amendments and Draft Resolutions covering Rule 6.1.d
  • 25 April 2021 – Constitutional Amendments and Draft Resolutions cover Rule 6.1.d proposed by Member Organizations and the World Scout Committee will be released by the World Scout Bureau
  • 24 hours before the first voting session on Constitutional Amendments – deadline for submitting amendments to Constitutional Amendments. These amendments need to fulfil the following requirements:
    • remove ambiguities or otherwise clarify the draft which has been circulated, or
    • in the opinion of the Resolutions Committee represent an intermediate position between the Draft Resolution and the current position or policy

Regional Support

Regional staff and volunteers are available to support or direct support to the right person throughout the drafting process of a resolution.

Resolutions Committee

Composed of experienced and culturally diverse members, the Resolutions Committee is available to support between April and August 2021.
