GETTING READY

Getting Started

Getting ready for a World Scout Conference or World Scout Youth Forum takes planning and organisation for a delegation. To guide you through the process, we have prepared some key information and support to help you get ready and make the most of the events.

Visit this section to learn how to make digital technology work, understand proposals and voting, network with other participants, and prepare your delegation for the events.

Getting Started

Register for the events

Registration for the World Scout Conference and World Scout Youth Forum is by invitation only. International Commissioners or NSO Official Contacts will be responsible for registering appointed delegates and observers to attend. The deadline to register participants for the Conference and Youth Forum is 15 July 2021.

Getting Started

Staying Safe from Harm

The Conference and Youth Forum aims to provide a safe and inclusive experience for all participants. Both events will be ruled by a Code of Conduct linked to the registration process.

All participants will be required to take two Safe from Harm e-learning courses and share their certificates of completion with their Head of Delegation.

A system for participants to report Safe from Harm concerns and a Listening Ear service will be active during the Conference and Youth Forum. Please visit the Safe from Harm page for more information about staying safe during the events.
