The upcoming Conference is a unique chance for Scouts worldwide to unite, share experiences, and enhance our global Movement. Delegates and observers will be organised into International Teams, each reflecting a diverse blend of ages, regions, cultures, and languages, and named after animal totems and gemstones.
These teams will be essential throughout the event, guiding you through Daily Dialogue sessions, the “Treasure Hunt in Cairo,” and various gamification activities. Prepare to connect with Scouts from diverse backgrounds, learn from one another, and create lasting memories within this vibrant global community.

Earn your Conference bracelet
Create your own amazing keepsake – the Conference Bracelet! You’ll need to collect the eight beads that spell out the word SCOUTING, which will be distributed to participants throughout the programme, including at the Daily Dialogues, Treasure Hunt in Cairo, and the WOSM Service Marketplace. You can earn extra beads by solving riddles in the Conference app.
The first batch of Conference Bracelets must be picked up by the team leader of your International Team on 17 August (Day 1 of the Conference) from the Participant Experience Booth.
Daily dialogue for intergenerational and intercultural learning
During the Conference, your International Teams will participate in five 30-minute dialogue sessions, focusing on intergenerational and intercultural learning. These sessions will align with the day’s themes and activities, aiming to build deeper connections and mutual understanding among diverse participants.
Each session will explore daily reflection questions and follow the 10 Dialogue Principles, available in all Conference languages. On the first day, all International Teams will meet on floor -3 of the venue, guided by gemstone signs. From the second day, International Teams will choose a new meeting location daily to foster dynamic learning and exchange. Active participation in these dialogues is essential for a successful and enriching Conference experience.
Joint the treasure hunt
On 21 August (Day 5), get ready for an exciting adventure with the “Treasure Hunt in Cairo,” where you’ll explore the rich culture and history of Egypt. This unique experience will engage you and your International Team in an exploration of Cairo’s landmarks and history. To participate, your team’s leader should collect the game ribbons from the Participant Experience Booth starting on 19 August, and on the day of the game, your team will need to board the bus together using these ribbons.
If your team is not participating, you can still join the fun by filling out an individual form to be placed in a new team for the event. Don’t miss this chance to experience Cairo in a truly memorable way—gather your team, collect your ribbons, and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime!
