Prepare your delegation for the virtual World Scout Conference and Youth Forum

This year, in August 2021, up to 3,500 leaders from 171 National Scout Organizations (NSOs) and global partners will come together online during the 42nd World Scout Conference and 14th World Scout Youth Forum to shape the future of the world’s leading educational youth movement.
Under the theme “Bridging the World”, this virtual Conference and Youth Forum will be the largest ever convened in the event’s 100-year history. Through an online conferencing platform, delegations will be able to access workshops, plenaries, social events, pre-engagement sessions and on-demand content through a connected experience while networking with Scouts and global partners from around the world to gain new insights and inspiration.
To ensure that your delegation is well prepared for the events, we’ve developed a number of tools and resources to help you get started on your Conference and Youth Forum journey. Be sure to check out the information below to learn more about getting ready.
  • Delegate 101 Package: Get key information and useful tips to prepare your delegation, including details about the events’ proceedings and roles of delegation members.
  • NSO Checklist: Use the checklist with your delegation to maximise your experience, and plan ahead to get the most out of the virtual Conference and Youth Forum.
  • Webinar Series:  Sign up for the series of upcoming webinars to understand everything from details about the next Triennial Plan to digital participation platform demos and how the e-voting system will work.
  • NSO Technology Assessment: Fill out the assessment survey to help us tailor technical support to your delegation’s technology and digital needs, and appoint an Ambassador to help you get the most out of your virtual experience.
