There are various aspects to the programme of the virtual events, from institutional decision-making to social activities, live sessions to pre-recorded on-demand content, and finally educational opportunities through workshops to marketplaces showcasing important work and best practices.

The programme is being envisioned in a way that participants will have a preparation phase where they can start to get accustomed to the technology, get an introduction to the proposals up for decision, and start to engage in different discussions. 

During the times of the events, there will be a period of time each day where everyone will come together across the time zones for live sessions on key event moments (like voting for example). Before and/or after this time period will be various other live and on-demand programme for participants to select based on their needs and time zones so as to design their own custom agenda.
