Today, on 20 August 2024, delegates of the 43rd World Scout Conference elected 12 Voting Members to the World Scout Committee to serve during the 2024-2027 triennium. Voting took place on 19 and 20 August after 26 individuals presented their candidacy for election to the World Scout Conference represented by 176 Member Organizations.
The World Scout Committee is the Governing Board for the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and is one of the organisation’s three bodies outlined in the WOSM Constitution along with the World Scout Conference and World Scout Bureau as the two others.
From the 26 candidates put forward by Member Organizations, the following 12 individuals listed in alphabetical order by last name were elected as Voting Members of the World Scout Committee:

- Mori Chi-Kin Cheng, Hong Kong
- Daniël Corsen, Curaçao
- Elise Drouet, France
- Callum Kaye, United Kingdom
- Steve Kent, Canada
- Julius Kramer, Sweden
- Nour Elhouda Mahmoudi, Algeria
- Martin Meier, Liechtenstein
- Mohammad Omar (MO), Egypt
- Christine “Chrissy” Pollithy, Germany
- Sahali Marie-Louise Charlotte Ycossie, Côte d’Ivoire
According to WOSM’s constitutional provisions, the World Scout Committee’s mandate starts at the closure of the 43rd World Scout Conference and will finish at the closure of the 44th World Scout Conference in 2027.
