Resolutions Committee

Composed of experienced and culturally diverse members, the Resolutions Committee will be available to support Member Organizations through the process of developing and submitting proposals to the Conference. During the Conference, the Resolutions Committee is responsible for consolidating all proposals of Member Organizations and presenting them in a report to the Conference.

Important timeline

  • 17 February 2024 at 23h59 UTC – deadline to submit nomination(s)
  • April 2024 – World Scout Committee announces the provisional appointment of six (6) individuals to serve as the Resolutions Committee, including the appointed Chairperson
  • April to August 2024 – Resolutions Committee available to support Member Organizations in the process of developing and submitting proposals to the Conference
  • 17 August 2024 – the Conference will formally vote to endorse the provisional appointment of the Resolutions Committee during its Opening Session
  • Nomination submission process

    Step 1: Review the role description for identifying competent individuals

    Step 2: Ensure the nominee will be part of the Member Organization’s delegation (delegate or observer) to the Conference

    Step 3: Fill out the nomination form to provide endorsement from Member Organization

    Step 4: Include the nominees curriculum vitae clearly showing required skills and experience
